Patience
It is certain that every soul will be tested in this world. The difference is the type of challenge he or she will face. Some are tested on wealth, others through poverty, or a person could also be tested on facing the death of a loved one; a family member.
Allah SWT had stated in the al-Quran about tests:
Do the people think that they will be left to say, "We believe" and they will not be tried? (al-Ankabut; verse 2)
From this verse, it is understood that everyone will face trials in life and no one is excluded, including the Prophet himself. Allah SWT tests mankind (humans specifically) to identify who is the best among us. The more burden we have is a sign that we are cherished by Allah SWT as he tests the believers who have ultimate obedience to Him.
Despite the challenges that we face in life, we must bear in mind that these complications that occur are within our means and capability. Allah tests a person because he or she is able to cope with it. We will not be tested on something that is beyond our limits.
This is evident in Surah al-Baqarah verse 286, where Allah had stated:
"Allah does not burden a soul beyond that it can bear."
This shows that everyone is capable of dealing with the problems that occur in life.
We must not worry about what we are facing as every problem has its solution. Allah SWT had reminded us
twice in the al-Quran, in surah al-Sharh verses 5-6;
"Verily, with every hardship comes ease.
With every hardship comes ease."
It all comes to our part of how we want to solve the problem. We must put in our utmost effort and seek various alternatives to overcome whatever obstacle we are facing. Without any effort done, our current situation would never change. This is also found in the al-Quran in surah al-Ra'd verse 11,
Indeed, Allah will not change the condition of a people until they change what is in themselves.
To conclude, our life will always be filled with trials to make us stronger and a better Muslim. We must always remember to believe in His plans as He is the best of planners. Everything in this world is only temporary, as our final destination is the life in the Hereafter. Our actions today will determine our fate in the afterlife. If our aim is to enter
Jannah, then our efforts must lead to actions that bring goodness to ourselves and others. We must obey whatever Allah SWT had ordered us to do and at the same time, we must prevent others from doing any wrongdoings.

An avid reader
Indulge into the world of fantasy
A lifelong book collector
Everyone has their own pastime, either cooking, swimming, or playing sports. As for me, I prefer to spend my time with reading books, newspapers, magazines, or any written piece. Since I was small, I enjoyed reading books to the point of reading multiple books in a day. One of the places I look forward to going is the bookstore. I could spend hours browsing through books displayed in the shop. Similarly, the library is like a safe haven for me; a place where I can escape from reality for a short moment.
It is through the act of reading that I can feel the emotions portrayed by the characters in the book, especially if you have stumbled upon an amazing story. Putting down a good book would be difficult as your mind has already been engulfed with the story. A good writer is one who manages to capture the reader's interest to continue reading page by page.
I believe that reading is magical; it brings you into your own world full of fantasy. Putting yourselves at the character's shoes would create a lot of excitement and also suspense as to what would happen next.
There are numerous benefits of reading such as increasing your vocabulary by introducing you to new words; words which you have never heard before. Reading will also let us gain knowledge and apply it in our daily lives. Not only that, reading serves as a form of relieving stress, as a good book can brighten up our gloomy day.
One of my favourite authors would be Mitch Albom. His books are one of a kind, they contain heartwarming stories which causes tears to form in your eyes. We can empathise with the characters as if you are in their current situation.
His books for example, 'For one more day' tells the story of a son and his mother, where the son wishes that he could have just another day to spend time with his mother.
