Beautiful Memories of Usrah Budi 4
Assalamualaikum wbt and hi everyone!
Alhamdulillah this semester has been amazing and filled with so much wonderful memories especially with my Usrah Budi 4 class. I had met new friends and learned valuable lessons from our naqibah, Sister Aiman. As the meaning of Usrah itself is "family", I had felt that we were one big family throughout this semester's class.
This Usrah Budi class is a bit different than the previous classes that I had joined as we will begin each class with Surah al-Kahf. I think that it is a good way to start our day with the recitation of al-Quran especially when it is recited together.
I also enjoyed our classes as each class was followed by exciting activities that we played together. These activities had made us get to know one another more closely and share our thoughts with them.
I also had great group members to do the assignments and all of them were supportive towards each other.
Despite not being able to meet each other physically, it was not a problem for us as we could still interact on Google Meet and WhatsApp. We had also looked forward to discuss about our community engagement project and tried our best to brainstorm about the details of the program.
What I liked best about this class was that our naqibah, Sister Aiman was very cheerful as she always had a smile on her face and always gave us motivation. She shared useful tips regarding life, Islam and other matters which we will surely apply in our lives. The class lessons and activities were also presented using slides which I find to be very attractive. In this class we were also free to express our ideas on the topics covered.
Overall, I really enjoyed this class and hopefully, from the lessons learnt all of us would practice it in life and share it with our friends as stated in a hadith by Prophet Muhammad, "بَلِّغُوا "عَنِّي وَلَوْ آيَةً Which means, "Convey from me even if it is one verse."
I would like to express my deepest gratitude to our beloved naqibah, Sister Aiman for guiding us and dedication in ensuring that we obtained beneficial knowledge. This also includes our awesome class members who each had their own role in the class and had done their best to make the classes lively. Thank you all so much!
Sincerely,
Aisyah Karina (1919774) ^_^

An avid reader
Indulge into the world of fantasy
A lifelong book collector
Everyone has their own pastime, either cooking, swimming, or playing sports. As for me, I prefer to spend my time with reading books, newspapers, magazines, or any written piece. Since I was small, I enjoyed reading books to the point of reading multiple books in a day. One of the places I look forward to going is the bookstore. I could spend hours browsing through books displayed in the shop. Similarly, the library is like a safe haven for me; a place where I can escape from reality for a short moment.
It is through the act of reading that I can feel the emotions portrayed by the characters in the book, especially if you have stumbled upon an amazing story. Putting down a good book would be difficult as your mind has already been engulfed with the story. A good writer is one who manages to capture the reader's interest to continue reading page by page.
I believe that reading is magical; it brings you into your own world full of fantasy. Putting yourselves at the character's shoes would create a lot of excitement and also suspense as to what would happen next.
There are numerous benefits of reading such as increasing your vocabulary by introducing you to new words; words which you have never heard before. Reading will also let us gain knowledge and apply it in our daily lives. Not only that, reading serves as a form of relieving stress, as a good book can brighten up our gloomy day.
One of my favourite authors would be Mitch Albom. His books are one of a kind, they contain heartwarming stories which causes tears to form in your eyes. We can empathise with the characters as if you are in their current situation.
His books for example, 'For one more day' tells the story of a son and his mother, where the son wishes that he could have just another day to spend time with his mother.
